Gates open at 4 p.m., with Hot Laps commencing at 6 p.m. General admission tickets will be $18. Children 12 years old and under are free.
Here’s a look at what to expect:
Flying National – The Top Gun Sprint Car Series has seen multiple drivers move up the ranks of dirt racing while finding a home in Florida’s top Sprint Car program.
St. Petersburg, FL’s Tyler Clem has won six Feature races at Volusia, including a career highlight win in the 2023 Germfree Southern Sprint Car Shootout. The 2021 Top Gun Sprints champion finished sixth in the 2024 DIRTcar Summer Nationals Late Models championship standings and made starts with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series in 2025.
Danny Martin Jr. is among the winningest Sprint Car drivers in Volusia’s history with 11 total triumphs, and six with the Top Gun Sprints. His previous starts in the Shaw Racing No. 24 have led to a win and two second-place finishes.
Perfect H1 – Dalton Hopke has torched the competition in the 3/4 Modifieds with an undefeated run at “The World’s Fastest Half Mile” of four Feature wins, and his lone start at Ocala Speedway in 2025 led to victory.
The Jacksonville, FL native has been fast in the last two seasons aboard his No. H1 machine, but mechanical issues forced him out of contention for the track championship.
The 2025 season has led to a new resurgence from Hopke as he looks to keep the winning streak alive in the Top Gun Classic for his first bid at a track championship.
Seeing Double – Starke, FL’s Jason Garver spent the first two races of the 2025 Volusia season in four of the “Fab 5” divisions, winning the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds opener in March.
He has an opportunity in the Top Gun Classic to extend his 10-point lead in the Modifieds, and close the gap on the Factory Stocks points lead from 32 markers away on leader Willy Cuddy.
Garver’s unique load of track time makes him the most experienced on the new surface laid on the track, giving him a larger book of notes to utilize in Saturday night’s program.
Stocked Up – Spring Fling Feature winner Willy Cuddy leads the Factory Stocks standings by five points over reigning champion Patrick Thomas entering Saturday’s Top Gun Classic.
The 2025 season has brought new and old faces to the forefront of the division, as past champions Justin Reynolds and Shaun Daugharty sit within the top-10 of the leaderboard.
Saturday’s event will begin to form the contenders for the 2025 Factory Stocks title through the 20 laps of Feature competition at the “World’s Fastest Half Mile.”
