Unstable Weather Conditions Cancel Sunshine Nationals Finale

Unstable weather conditions at Volusia Speedway Park has forced DIRTcar Racing and World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series and track officials to cancel Saturday’s Sunshine Nationals finale.

This decision comes after working closely with Meteorologist Wayne Mahar from Precision Weather Service and monitoring the local weather over the past 48 hours.

The event will not be made up.

Anyone who had a pit pass for Saturday’s event can exchange it for another on any night of DIRTcar Nationals, or mail it to 7575 West Winds Blvd., Suite D, Concord, NC 28027.

Anyone who bought a ticket online prior to Saturday’s event will get a credit on their DIRT-TIX account. If you’d like a refund on your ticket from the event: CLICK HERE.

Anyone who bought a Saturday ticket at the track during the event, will also need to mail it into the Concord, NC address above for a refund.

Fans must request or mail-in for a refund by February 28, 2023.

The Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet will continue its high-octane show on Thursday, Feb. 16 during DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park.
