Here are the top storylines to look for:

604 Late Models – After Garret Stewart took his first VSP 604 Late Model win of the 2025 season at the Battle in Barberville, he now sits 61 points away from catching Trynt Lloyd for his first title in the division through the final two races.

The Fruitland Park, FL veteran’s win helped him overtake Kole Platt for second in the standings, but earning the championship is a tall task against Lloyd’s 2025 track record that includes two wins and podiums in every Feature held.

In the September event, Lloyd posted a third-place run as his lowest finish in the season. As long as the Jacksonville, FL 19-year-old keeps the No. 67 behind his No. 2 Longhorn Chassis in the next two events, he’ll clinch his first career track title.

602 Late Models – Though Jason Garver is out of points contention to hoist the 604 Late Model track, he has three other division titles that have him on a mission to build a points buffer in the Fall Classic.

The Starke, FL driver leads Brandon Yates by a mere five points in the 602 Late Models despite not winning a race in the division this season. Yates, from Ruskin, FL, won his first career track Feature in the June Firecracker Classic as he enters the week fresh off a second-place points finish in the All-Tech Raceway track championship.

The slim margin for error has both Garver and Yates wanting to add a Feature win, while third-place Austin Leamon is 20 points behind the two. He owns a 2022 division championship while racing for his first career Feature win at Volusia.

DIRTcar UMP Modifieds – Garver made it a “secret goal” to stack notes for the Emil and Dale Reutimann Memorial in November. However, his success at the track in 2025 created an unintended goal for him: winning a Volusia division championship.

He now has a firm championship adversary to the end as Gibsonton, FL’s Seth Geary is nine points away from scoring a second consecutive track title within the final two races. In the Battle in Barberville, the two drivers were key pieces in Zane Oedewaldt’s first track win as the three traded positions until Oedewaldt edged Geary and Garver at the finish.

While Geary owns more wins on the season with three, Garver is the only driver to finish top five in every Feature after a mechanical failure from the season-opening Spring Fling required “Big Red” to work up to second place in the final two events.

3/4 Modifieds – While Dalton Hopke’s dominant year at Volusia of four wins in six races makes him the frontrunner for the 3/4 Modifieds championship, he’ll have to keep the pace shown in 2025 in Saturday’s Fall Classic.

Before the Battle in Barberville, Hopke won every 3/4 Modified Feature he started in the No. H1 this year. That statistic changed when Pierson, FL teenager Colton Lane took his first career points win at Volusia – his second in the September event’s history.

While the Jacksonville, FL driver continues to show the way in the division, he’ll have to avoid any trouble to keep Ethyn Hwan, Lane, and Chase Cooke away from garnering a points comeback in the waning hours.

Factory Stocks – The Battle in Barberville helped Garver reach closer towards a potential third track title in 2025 after a second-place run rewarded him with an 18-point buffer over 2024 champion Patrick Thomas.

The division has been Garver’s most successful at Volusia this year after attaining three wins and top fives in every Feature despite starting the Spring Fling with an 18th-place result. Thomas is looking for his first win of the year, but this time he’ll try again behind the wheel of his son, Tanner’s, Factory Stock, which was parked in Victory Lane in September.

The two drivers will also have to be aware of Christmas, FL driver Willy Cuddy, who sits 30 points behind. “The Kid” scored the season opener for his first career track win, and is the only driver to finish inside the top-10 in every Feature held through 2025 in the chase for his first track title.
