Volusia Unveils 2022 Schedule

Volusia Speedway Park revealed its 2022 schedule on Friday during the Performance Racing Industry Tradeshow in Indianapolis. Beginning with the Sunshine Nationals in January and running through the Reutimann Memorial in November, there are more than 40 race nights at The World’s Fastest Half-Mile.

While World of Outlaws Late Models and DIRTcar UMP Modifieds bookend the 2022 season, everything from World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars to AMA Motorcycles to Top Gun Sprints will make appearances at Volusia.

Following the DIRTcar Nationals in February and Daytona Bike Week events in March, an ambitious schedule of racing including 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, 3/4 Modifieds, Street Stocks and Thunder Stocks will be on the card for Saturday night racing beginning in April.

New in 2022, Volusia Speedway Park’s weekly events will be broadcast around the world via DIRTVision, dirt track racing’s broadcaster of premier events and tracks.

“We have worked hard to deliver a full and competitive schedule for our fans, sponsors and racers,” said Volusia Speedway Park General Manager James Sawyer. “We’ve had a great 2021 season so our goal is to keep the momentum rolling right into 2022, beginning with the Sunshine Nationals on Jan. 20.”
