Due to mid-afternoon showers that brought lightning and several inches of rain to Volusia Speedway Park, track officials have canceled Saturday night’s Labor Day Classic program.
Sunday night’s finale is still on as originally scheduled, with the “Fab 5” racing for stout paydays at the “World’s Fastest Half Mile” to close out the summertime competition.
If you purchased a ticket or pit pass for Saturday, it can be used to enter the gates for the event’s finale on Sunday night.
