Due to thunderstorms with heavy rainfall, in addition to a poor forecast for the rest of the evening, Volusia Speedway Park officials have canceled Friday Night of the Labor Day Classic in the interest of safety for fans and teams.
The “World’s Fastest Half Mile” now shifts its full attention to Saturday night’s finale of the Labor Day Classic, featuring all the “Fab 5” divisions – 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, 3/4 Modifieds, and Factory Stocks.
Those who have already purchased a wristband can use them for Saturday’s event.
Saturday’s event will feature full programs for each division. Tickets will be available at the gate for just $18. For more information, click HERE.
