Unfortunately, for the 3rd time this season, we have canceled a race due to torrential storms. This time was Saturday’s running of the Gator Nationals.
Continual rain that came in late Friday night and all throughout Saturday made the track in no good shape for it to be worked on and raced on. Saturated grounds weren’t too much of an issue until track crews came to work in the morning and Mother Nature gave the World’s Fastest Half Mile her full might. With this cancellation, we will have a bit of a break as the next race to be run is on June 4th with the Wild Card 25. Gates open at 4:00 with Hot Laps at 6:00.
