September 25th Kart Race To Be Double-Points, 2022 Dirt Kart Nationals Canceled

BARBERVILLE, FL – Volusia Karting’s Young Guns 20 on Sunday has become the series’ epic championship finale. With the cancellation of a couple of upcoming events.

After exploring multiple avenues, a new slot on the 2022 calendar could not be found for the postponed Aug. 28 Summer Sizzler at Volusia Speedway Park, canceling the event. And with the best interest of competitors and fans in mind, this year’s Dirt Kart Nationals, originally scheduled for Dec. 30-31, has been canceled to not create scheduling conflicts with other national tours.

The Young Guns 20 will now be a double-points event for the championship finale. The champions of each division will be announced after the weekend.

Volusia Karting is also planning for an exciting 2023 season with 10 races scheduled, starting with the season opener on March 31.
