With sporadic heavy rain showers plaguing the Volusia County area, creating saturated grounds and hazardous conditions, Volusia Speedway Park and Top Gun Sprint Car Series officials are keeping the best interest of fans and drivers in mind and canceling Saturday’s racing program.
There will be no makeup date for the event.
Volusia Speedway Park now shifts its focus towards racing action on June 17. The night will include a $3,000 to win 604 Late Model Feature. The DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, Thunder Stocks, Pick Your Part Street Stocks, and the Gladiators will make up the heavy competition to come. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m.(ET), with Hot Laps beginning at 6:00 p.m.
