BARBERVILLE, FL – With overnight rain continuing into today and weather models projecting thunderstorms throughout the evening, Volusia Speedway Park officials have canceled Saturday’s Summer Sizzler race.
The thunderstorm is projected to bring in heavy rain to Volusia County. Please take the necessary precautions before the storm system lands.
Weekly racing at Volusia returns with the Back to School Night on Saturday, August 10. The night will feature 604 Late Models 602 Late Models, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, and Thunder Stocks. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m., with Hot Laps scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
