Before the cancellation of the Summer Sizzler, severe storms flooded the track and prevented work to dry the facility. Persistent rain showers continued to saturate the grounds and forced track officials to cancel the race.
The Top Gun Sprint Car Series agreed to reschedule their race to August 6th, and all other classes that were scheduled to run are canceled. With the Top Gun Sprint Car Series racing on August 6th, the 602 Late Models have been removed from the schedule. All other classes on August 6th are scheduled to race.
Gates on August 6th will open at 4:00 PM with Hot Laps at 6:00 PM. Gate admission will be $20, with kids 12 and under will receive free admission.
