With heavy rains and significant thunderstorms ravaging Volusia Speedway Park and Central Florida, track officials have made the decision to cancel Saturday’s Visit West Volusia Night. Track officials deemed that the wet grounds have made for an unsafe race track for Saturday.
All focus now moves toward the Summer Sizzler on July 29. The night will include the Top Gun Sprint Car Series for their Summer fun. The DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, 604 Late Models, and the Thunder Stocks will be racing alongside them. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m., with Hot Laps beginning at 6:00 p.m. There will also be an open practice on July 26 for all racing classes.
