This weekend\u2019s Ninth Annual Emil & Dale Reutimann Memorial is aiming to be the best one yet. With some of the biggest DIRTcar UMP Modified drivers to race around the <\/span>World\u2019s Fastest Half Mile<\/span><\/i>, fan festivities have been expanded more than before, and new chances for fans to see the spectacle of this special November classic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday\u2019s practice night features all of Volusia\u2019s local classes, including the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, 3\/4 Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Thunder Stocks to hit the track. General admission for race fans is free to enter, with practice running from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. See the pictures below for the full schedule of events.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be nothing short of opportunities to grab merchandise from your favorite track, series, or drivers. There will now be two Volusia Speedway Park merchandise booths, one located at the main entrance and the other by the grandstands between turns one and two. You can get the specially designed 2022 Emil & Dale Reutimann Memorial shirts and other souvenirs!<\/span><\/p>\n

The beer booth is back! A staple of DIRTcar Nationals, the turn one beer booth will be back for this weekend\u2019s racing! Come hang out with your friends and sip a cold one while races go on at the <\/span>World\u2019s Fastest Half Mile<\/span><\/i>!<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you want to see the trophy that the DIRTcar UMP Modified drivers will be racing for on Saturday night? On Friday and Saturday, you can be able to get a picture of the Emil & Dale Reutimann Memorial trophy in the midway, in front of Buzzie Reutimann\u2019s famous modifieds from the past!<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking of the past, Buzzie Reutimann will be autographing memorabilia from his personal collection for you to have a chance to own! It will be $1 for one ticket and $5 for six tickets! Here\u2019s your chance to own a special piece of history!<\/span><\/p>\n

Along with raffles, Caryn and Eric Hamilton return to the<\/span> World\u2019s Fastest Half Mile <\/span><\/i>with 50\/50 tickets for fans to purchase on both days! Don\u2019t miss out on getting the chance of coming home with a load of change in your pocket!<\/span><\/p>\n

There will also be special awards for drivers to earn this year, thanks to the special partners that help make this event as great as it is!<\/span><\/p>\n

Tickets for Friday or Saturday only will be $20. For both days, it will be $30. Gates open at 4:00 PM, with Hot Laps beginning at 6:00 PM on Friday, but 5:45 Hot Laps on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n
