Germfree \u2013 a manufacturer of isolator and laminar flow technology \u2013\u00a0is teaming with Volusia Speedway Park, starting this year, to become the track\u2019s preferred BioTech partner.<\/p>\n
Germfree Laboratories, Inc. was founded in 1962 to manufacture isolators for \u201cgermfree\u201d research. The company has delivered aseptic and hazardous drug compounding systems to 40% of the hospital pharmacies in the United States with units also being shipped globally. Their isolators and laminar flow technologies are utilized by several of the top-10 pharmaceutical and BioTech firms for production and lab applications. Germfree also designs and manufactures complex biocontainment and biopharma cleanrooms on mobile and modular platforms, spaces that are fitted with Germfree\u2019s robust stainless-steel equipment, and deployed worldwide.<\/p>\n
The partnership with Volusia Speedway Park \u2013 located 20 miles west of Daytona Beach, FL \u2013\u00a0will see Germfree signage displayed around the track throughout its events, which include the Sunshine Nationals (Jan 20-22) and DIRTcar Nationals (Feb. 7-19), along with a Germfree display, educating fans about the company.<\/p>\n
